About Me

 

I am a South African born Clinical Psychologist working in London. I completed my clinical training in South Africa at the University of the Witwatersrand. Following this I worked for 1 year at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital before moving to the UK. Since settling in the UK I have worked in a variety of setting including the NHS and the private sector. During my time in the NHS I developed a special interest in Older Adult mental health and clinical health psychology.

 

In my current rule I am involved in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, which include facilitating Inter Personal Therapy Groups, Psycho-education groups and DBT skills groups.

 

I work across central and south west London offering individual psychotherapy using a variety of different modalities.

 

Coming to therapy can often feel difficult, my approach to therapy is to sensitive and respectful to each individual. l aim to create a safe supportive environment in which you can feel safe in talking about the difficulties you may be facing. I adhere to the ethics codes of the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society.
